Drawing from RMU’s drive to push ski innovation into the future, Wiley Miller challenged us to create a new ski specifically for low-speed and low-angle powder conditions. Thus creating the SR126. During big pow days mid-season, when bigger lines are too dangerous to ski, we are all in pursuit of safe snow. The Butterknife was shaped with the ethos of swallowtail fish surfboards and snowboards to make skiing in powder effortless, surfy, and playful at lower speeds. A longer low-rise rocker mixed with its unique shape provides a lower-speed float. The SR126's directional surf shape and full-width swallow tail allow snow to release easily off the tail and provide a super surfy feel.
